Principal

Principal Tiffani Maher

Hello Wonderful Rees E. Price Academy Families!

My name is Tiffani Maher, and I am truly humbled and honored to serve as your Principal. I am thrilled to be a part of the Rees E. Price Academy family! My educational journey began teaching first, second, and third-grade students at Pleasant Ridge Montessori School. I have served as the Interim Principal at Spencer Center for the Gifted and Exceptional, the Academy of Multilingual Immersion Studies (AMIS), and Ethel M. Taylor Academy. I am now serving as the principal of Rees E. Price Academy. Yo hablo español! I hold a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) endorsement, an American Montessori Society Elementary I (ages 6–9) credential, an MEd, an MBA (Go Bucks!) and I am currently a PhD student.

Under my leadership, Rees E. Price Academy has achieved five stars in Progress and Gap Closing and has also received a three star overall rating from the Ohio Department of Education. This means that the students at Rees E. Price Academy are consistently showing growth in academic outcomes. I have high expectations for each of our students because I believe in their potential for brilliance.

Over the years, I have mentored staff, teachers and administrators to become successful leaders throughout the district. I have facilitated professional development for teachers and administrators locally as well as in other districts within Ohio.

Outside of work, I love being outdoors, practicing mindfulness, cooking from scratch, and indulging in an occasional charcuterie board!

Thank you for entrusting your children with me. I take this responsibility very seriously. I look forward to building meaningful relationships with each of you. As we embark on this school year, I kindly ask for your assistance with three important things:

  1. Thank you for ensuring your child arrives at school on time between 7:25 and 7:40 a.m.

  2. Thank you for picking up your child promptly between 2:05 and 2:15 p.m.

  3. Thank you for encouraging your child to read for 20 minutes and practice math for 20 minutes every day, even on weekends.

I am excited about the year ahead and the wonderful things we will achieve together!

Kindest regards,

Tiffani Maher
