Welcome Letter 2026-27

Greetings Families of Rees E. Price Academy,

While summer is winding down, we are excited to welcome your children back to Rees E. Price Academy! My name is Dean Bryson, and I’m beyond excited to serve as the principal of our school community for the 2026-2027 school year, marking our 20th anniversary! Over the summer, I have been intentional about learning the culture of our school and the East Price Hill community. I hear a recurring theme about the promise, community-orientation, and brilliance of our students, family, and staff at Rees E Price Academy. I cannot express enough how much I am looking forward to meeting, serving, and learning with our children!

As we get back into the school year, I want to share some key details to start a successful year.

  • First Day of School - Wednesday, August 19, 2026
  • School Hours - 7:40 AM - 2:10 PM
    • Arrival - 7:27 - 7:40 AM
    • Dismissal - 2:05 - 2:10 PM
    • In partnership to ensure student safety, please review arrival and dismissal procedures (included in Welcome Packet) before the first day of school.
  • Uniform Policy - Generally, on top - students may wear solid colored blue, gold, or white collared shirts and navy blue or khaki bottoms. Students may not wear hoodies or open-toed shoes. Please see uniform policy included in our welcome packet for more details.
  • Cell Phones - Cell phones are expected to be put away and turned off during school hours.

More information is available on our website. To ensure that you and your child are prepared for a successful year, I encourage you to browse the website. Please reach out to us with any questions at cpsprice@cps-k12.org, or at 513-363-6000.

IN SERVICE TO STUDENTS,

PRINCIPAL DEAN BRYSON, EdM
